INDIANAPOLIS  – Indianapolis scored with 22 seconds left in the game to trip up the No. 8 Maryville men's lacrosse team 13-12 in the regular-season finale for both teams. The Saints rallied from a 12-9 deficit in the final five minutes to forge a 12-all tie before the late winner by the Greyhounds snapped Maryville's six-game victory streak.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Greyhounds scored the first goal but Saints answered with three straight.
Clayton Cerett tied the score before
Jake Grebe fired in back-to-back goals. UIndy pulled one back before the Saints went on another 3-0 spree.
Joel Lucas found the back of the net, and
Brenden Bloedel tallied consecutive points in just over a minute for a 6-2 lead. UIndy scored twice until
Dagan Carlson gave the Saints a 7-4 edge. The Greyhounds netted two more goals to pull to within 7-6 at halftime.

The hosts scored five of the six goals in the third quarter, with
Lucas Marschitz tallying the lone Maryville goal as UIndy took an 11-8 cushion into the fourth.
Trent Zimay scored in the fourth before the Greyhounds made it 12-9 with 7:21 to play.
Colin Tobias started the Saints comeback with a pair of goals, and
Ben Mickett tied the game 12-12 with 2:33 remaining.

Shea Raeburn won the ensuing faceoff as the Saints looked to take the lead. After a pair of shots were off target, Mickett rang an attempt off the post. Tobias nearly completed a hat trick but his shot was saved with less than a minute to go. UIndy got the ball back and scored the winner with just 22 ticks left.
