EAST PEORIA, Ill. – After the first day of action at the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament at the EastSide Centre in East Peoria, Ill., the Maryville Softball team saw four of its own named All-GLVC. Seniors Emily Corona and Chayse Ramey found spots on the second team, while Cora Boyle and Addison Koth landed on the third team. 

For Corona, she has been a stalwart at the top of the Saints lineup. Batting .322, she sits as just one of two Saints with an OPS above 1.000 on the season, having tallied nine doubles, four triples and six home runs. Her deadliness doesn't just come in the batter's box as she led the Saints with 20 stolen bases this season. No slouch on defense either, Corona had 201 chances on the season, converting on 96% of her opportunities. 

Ramey, in her fifth year of collegiate pitching, was electric in the circle all year, pitching to a tune of a 2.82 ERA with 106 strikeouts over 111.2 innings of work. She held opponents to a .212 batting average while punching out seven or more on nine different occasions, including a 15-strikeout record breaking game. 

Koth in the later half of the season became one of the scariest at-bats in all of the GLVC, slugging nearly .500, she blasted six home runs and 10 doubles. In GLVC action she carried a batting average of .329 while driving in 23 runs. 

The energetic-freshman Boyle was the two-way star of the Saints. From the circle, she led the Saints in innings with 154 while keeping a 3.14 ERA. While batting, she snagged four doubles on the year with 17 RBIs.
