The Maryville University men's lacrosse team had four All-American selections as announced by USA Lacrosse Magazine for 2025.
Justin Simonson and
Dagan Carlson were third-team All-Americans, while
Clayton Cerett and
John Chorlton were All-American honorable mention choices.

A junior attacker, Simonson leads the Saints in goals (39), assists (42) and points (81). He topped the GLVC in assists per game (2.50), is second in points per game (5.40) and is eighth in goals per game (2.0). Simonson has recorded at least two points in every game this season, and he fired in the game-winning goal in overtime during the quarterfinal contest at No. 2 seed Limestone. A short-stick defensive midfielder, Carlson has picked up 53 ground balls this season and ranks third on the team with 17 caused turnovers. He has added five goals and five assists to the offensive attack.

Cerett ranks fourth on the team with 41 points on 20 goals and 21 assists. The senior attacker had two assists in the GLVC title game against Lewis, and recorded a hat trick in the NCAA Tournament romp at Anderson. Cerett has picked up at least one point in 17 of 18 games this season. Chorlton, who was the Great Lakes Valley Conference Defender of the Year, led the efforts for the best scoring defense in the GLVC and one that ranks eighth nationally. The junior led the league in GLVC games in ground balls (31), ground balls per game (6.2), while placing second in caused turnovers (11) and caused turnovers per game (2.2). Chorlton has amassed 34 CTs to go along with 73 ground balls overall this season. In addition, he scored four goals and chipped in a pair of assists.

The Saints have reached the 2025 NCAA Division II Tournament Semifinals and play at No. 1 Tampa Sunday, May 18, in a Noon CT / 1 p.m. ET contest to advance to the DII National Championship game Sunday, May 25, at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.
