MARTIN, Tenn. – The No. 5-ranked Maryville STUNT program, facing a stout lineup of ranked NCAA DI foes, went 3-1 at the UT Martin Invite.

On day one of the invite, the Saints defeated Central Methodist 25-2 on day one and ended their Saturday with a 28-11 effort over NCAA DI's No. 8 Northern Kentucky 28-11. Total domination of the fourth period of team routine was all Maryville, with the Saints winning 23-22.

The fun didn't stop there as the Saints opened Sunday with a battle of Missouri STUNT powers. Facing off against NCAA DI's No. 6 Missouri State Bears, the Saints came away with the upset, securing the win with a clutch fourth period to claim their third-straight win.
The final bout of action was the lone loss of the weekend, dropping a nailbiter to No. 4-ranked in Division I and host UT Martin. Maryville held a 16-15 advantage heading into the final period, but the Saints were bested 14-10 in the final period to drop their lone game of the invite.

The Maryville STUNT team heads to Quincy, Ill., Saturday, March 21 for three games of GLVC action.
