LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Addison Koth of Maryville softball has been named the Division II Louisville Slugger/NFCA Player of the Week, marking the first time in program history a Saint has garnered Player of the Week.
 
Koth had a historic weekend as the Saints opened Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) play, going 10-14 for a .714 batting average over four games. Those hits were loud almost every time as she belted six homers and two doubles for a staggering 2.143 slugging percentage.

Driving in 14 runs and scoring six herself, her weekend was highlighted by a 2-3 effort in the first game versus Rockhurst where she hammered two homers for six RBIs.

Now the Saints' leader in homers, she has helped the team break the program record for team home runs (34) just halfway through the regular season.
 
She was also named GLVC Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday.
