Maryville University redshirt junior middle blocker AJ Robateau was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week for the period ending March 29, 2026. He led the Saints defensive efforts in two sweeps over GLVC foe Jamestown.
 
In match one versus Jamestown, Robateau tied his career high with seven blocks and added one dig to go along with six kills on the offensive end. His efforts helped the defense hold Jamestown to a .036 team hitting percentage, the lowest by a Maryville opponent this season.
Robateau followed up with three blocks, five kills and one dig in match two versus Jamestown.
The Saints limited UJ to a .171 hitting mark in that match. He added five more kills while hitting .667 to again aid the offense.
 
The Saints voyage to Chicago for two GLVC matches at Roosevelt University starting Friday, April 3.
