Maryville University junior outside hitter Makai Scott was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for the period ending March 8, 2026. He paced the Saints offensive attack in a pair of GLVC sweeps over Southwest Baptist. This marks the third time this season Scott has garnered the league's weekly award.
 
In match one versus SBU, Scott finished with 11 kills and hit a season-high .474. He chipped in five digs, three service aces and two blocks. Scott followed up in match two against the Bearcats, he recorded 14 kills while hitting .379. He also had a season-best eight digs to go along with two blocks and four assists.
 
The Saints take to the road for a pair of GLVC matches at Thomas More University starting Friday, March 13, in Crestview Hills, Ky.
