The Maryville University men's lacrosse team had a trio of selections to the 2026 USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American squads.
Carter Bies (SSDM),
John Chorlton (LSM) and
Wyatt Robertson (A) were all selected to the All-American Honorable Mention Team.
Bies, who was a first-team All-GLVC honoree, had 16 caused turnovers to go along with 43 ground balls. He added six assists on the season. Bies helped a Maryville defense that ranked 18th in the nation in scoring defense at 9.07 goals allowed per game. He grabbed a career-high eight ground balls against Indianapolis and had at least three GBs in seven contests.
The GLVC Defensive Player of the Year in 2026, Chorlton was a two-time unanimous selection to the All-GLVC first team. He led the Saints defense that ranked 18th nationally in scoring defense. He led Maryville and ranked sixth in the league in caused turnovers per game at 1.67 and grabbed 37 ground balls on the season. In addition, he scored four goals and picked up one assist.
Robertson was chosen the Offensive Player of the Year and led the GLVC in goals (48) and goals per game (3.20) and ranked 14th nationally. He was third in the country with 10 man-up goals. Robertson had 11 multi-goal games and poured in a season-high six goals against nationally ranked opponents Alabama-Huntsville and Rollins. He posted a .647 shooting percentage on the season and recorded 39 ground balls.
