Maryville University's Department of Athletics' communications office earned six national honors from College Sports Communicators at the organization's annual convention in Las Vegas, recognizing the department's excellence during the 2025-26 academic year.

The national recognition was highlighted as Assistant Athletic Director of Communications
Chuck Yahng was named one of seven recipients of the CSC Presidents' Award. The honor is selected by the organization's president, Patrick Crawford. Yahng was the only non-Division I NCAA recipient of the accolade this year. In addition, Coordinator of Athletic Communications
Jacob Walton earned recognition with a graphic design submission that finished seventh in Division II for Major Awards & Championship Graphics and 10th in the overall College Division.

Student photographer Jayden Jain took first place in Division II and second in College Division and "Best of Student Workers" division for Special Projects - Video 18th in College Division, 12th in Division II, and first in "Best of Student Workers" division for Major Awards & Championship Graphics. In addition, he tied for 15th in Division II and fifth in "Best of Student Workers" division for Game Day Graphics. Another student photographer, Joey Bunton, finished ninth in "Best of Student Workers" division for Photo of the Year.
