The Maryville women’s tennis squad did not drop a single set in a 9-0 victory over Fontbonne in a meet contested at Forest Park’s Dwight Davis Tennis Center in downtown St. Louis. The victory was the Saints’ second perfect 9-0 win, matching the effort against Blackburn earlier this season.
 
Chelsa Travis won all 12 games to take the No. 1 singles point. Lauren Land recorded a 6-4, 6-1 win at second singles, while Natalie Pfremmer only lost one game at No. 3. Nicole Kaltwasser won every game at No. 4 singles, and Maria Lesko did the same at the fifth singles slot. Anna Hindelang eased to a 6-0, 6-1 win at the final singles competition.
 
In No. 1 doubles play, Travis and Valerie Saxton notched an 8-1 win. While Land and Kaltwasser posted a 8-2 victory at No. 2, and Lesko and Hindelang won the third doubles point by the same 8-2 score.
