Results from Lindenwood Tri-Meet
The Saints swimming and diving team participated in the Lindenwood Tri-Meet held at the Rec-Plex in St. Peters, Mo., Saturday afternoon. The Saints faced the host Lions and Saint Louis University.

In the first event, the 400-yard medley relay, the Saints foursome of
Jill Johnston,
Olivia Shannon, Sam Gach and
Jessica Miller posted a time of 4:47.89 to get Maryville on the scoreboard.
Kelly Nuetzel finished the 200 freestyle in 2:21.05 and led teammate
Lucy Helzerman to the finish. In the sprint 50-free, Gach posted a time of 28.91.

During the one-meter diving event,
Shawn Gans compiled a total of 114.60. After the diving break,
Chelsey Gerber swam the 100-free in 1:17.94, while Helzerman clocked a 3:02.93 in the 200-backstroke. In the 500-freestyle, Miller and Johnston posted times of 6:07.90 and 6:55.51, respectively.

Gans came back in the three-meter diving and amassed 141.85 points for Maryville. In the 200-breaststroke, Shannon led Nuetzel and Gerber to the line with a time of 2:43.69. In the finale, the group of Johnston, Miller, Gach, Shannon recorded a time of 4:15.24 in the 400-free relay.

In the team scores, Lindenwood scored 204-24, while Saint Louis posted a 192-27 decision. The Saints are next in action when they travel to the Billikens' pool Nov. 8-9.
