SLU Day one results

The Saints swimming and diving team traveled downtown to take on Division I squads Saint Louis University and the University of Arkansas-Little Rock Friday evening on the Billikens' campus.
 
In the opening 400-yard medley relay, the Saints squad consisted of Jill Johnston, Kelly Nuetzel,  Sam Gach and Olivia Shannon and the foursome posted a time of 4:52.75. The next event was the 50-free and Lucy Helzerman clocked a 31.24. The meet moved on to the one-meter dive, and Shawn Gans scored a total of 128.15 for Maryville. Helzerman swam again in the 100-butterfly and recorded a 1:30.42. In the 400-freestyle relay, the Saints sent out Jessica Miller, Gach, Nuetzel and Shannon who finished in 4:12.10.
 
The Saints swim again Saturday morning at SLU's Simon Center when they compete at 9 a.m.
