Women’s tennis claimed victories in almost every match over the Fontbonne University Griffins Saturday morning.

Senior, Chelsea Travis and freshman, Theresa Brands teamed up to defeat Caroline Grewe and Katie Hays of Fontbonne University 8-2.  Freshman, Kristen Martin and freshman, Marie Schaefer also earned the Saints a win against Griffins Heather Flick and Mary Trotter 8-1.

In singles, Theresa Brand beat Fontbonne’s Caroline Grew 6-2, 6-1.  Saint Marie Schafer came up short against Katie Hays, 6-2, 6-3.  Natalie Pfremmer outplayed Heather Flick 6-0, 6-1.  Sophomore Lauren Land defeated Mary Trotter 6-0, 6-0.
