WU Invitational Day One results
The Maryville swimming and diving team is in fourth place after day one of the Washington University Invitational at Millstone Pool. The Saints scored 86 points after the first day.
The 200-yard medley relay team scored a fifth-place finish with a time of 2:09.19 featuring a lineup of Jill Johnston, Olivia Shannon, Kelly Nuetzel and Jessica Miller. Maryville also picked up points in the 100 breaststroke with Shannon clocking a 1:17.24, good for 11th place.
The relay squad of Nuetzel, Johnston, Miller and Shannon finished the 800 freestyle relay in 9:30.15 to finish in fourth place in the final event of day one. The meet concludes Saturday, Jan. 11, with the first event starting at 11 a.m.
