St. Louis - The Maryville women's tennis team eased to a 9-0 victory over visiting Webster University Monday, March 17. The Saints did not drop a set in any match to the Gorlocks.

Philine Schlorf and Adriana Armendariz got the Saints off to a quick start with an 8-2 win at the first doubles slot. Danielle Eisenberg and Nicole Kitsuse swept their Webster opponents 8-0 at No. 2 doubles, and the Saints won No. 3 doubles via default.

In the first singles slot, Admendariz won 7-5, 6-4, while Anne Lutz took the No. 2 singles decision 6-1, 6-2. Kitsuse won 6-0, 6-1 playing No. 3 singles, and Renske Linders won all 12 games at No. 4. Liz Farace posted a 6-2, 6-1 win in the fifth singles position, and Maryville won the final singles match by walkover.
