Frontenac, Mo. - The Maryville women's tennis team ran its record to 6-0 with a sweep over Illinois Springfield in a match that was played at the Frontenac Tennis Courts. The Saints dropped just two games in the GLVC contest Monday evening.

Philine Schlorf and
Adriana Armendariz won all eight sets at No. 1 doubles, and
Anne Lutz and
Renske Linders did the same at the second doubles slot.
Marina Marti and
Nicole Kitsuse closed out the perfect doubles round with another 8-0 decision at No. 3 doubles.

In the singles action, Schlorf closed out her No. 1 singles foe 6-0, 6-1, while Anne Lutz took all 12 sets in her No. 4 singles match. Linders won at No. 5 singles 6-1, 6-0, and Kitsuse downed her opponent 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6 singles. Martin and Armendariz closed out the match with 8-0 wins at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, respectively.
