Belleville, Ill. - The Maryville women's tennis team had its six-match spring season winning steak come to an end at the hands of 11th-ranked Washington University in a match played at the Kings Point Sports Club in Belleville, Ill.

Philine Schlorf posted a 6-1, 6-2 victory, the lone Saints win in the contest, in the No. 1 singles slot. She and
Adriana Armendariz won four games at No. 1 doubles, as did
Renske Linders and
Anne Lutz at No. 2 doubles but neither paring was able to prevail.
Nicole Kitsuse extended her match by winning five games in each set but dropped a 7-5, 7-5 decision in the final singles slot.
