Frontenac, Mo. - The Maryville women's tennis team posted its second straight Great Lakes Valley Conference victory with an 8-1 win over William Jewell in a match played at the Frontenac Tennis Club. The Saints swept the three doubles matches and continued action by taking five of the six singles contests.

Philine Schlorf and
Adriana Armendariz posted an 8-3 win at No. 1 doubles, and
Anne Lutz and
Renske Linders eased to an 8-2 win in the second doubles match. The Saints won No. 3 doubles in a walkover. Schlorf recorded an 8-4 in the top singles match, while Armendariz won a closely contested No. 2 singles match 9-8 (7-5). Linders won 8-2 at No. 4 singles, while
Nicole Kitsuse took No. 5 singles with a 6-1, 6-0 victory. Maryville won the final singles point via a default.
