Kansas City, Mo. - The Maryville women's tennis team won two of the three doubles matches but was unable to garner enough singles points as home squad Rockhurst stopped the Saints 6-3 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.

Philine Schlorf and Adriana Armendariz pulled out a closely contested match at the No. 1 doubles position as they won 9-8 due to a tiebreaker 7-5 decision. After dropping the No. 2 doubles match, Renske Linders and Nicole Kitsuse picked up the win at No. 3 doubles with an 8-4 decision. However, in the singles matches, only Linders prevailed as she posted a 6-2, 6-3 triumph.

The Saints slip to 12-5 overall, 1-3 in the GLVC. The Hawks improve to 5-4 overall, 2-1 in the conference.
