The Maryville women's tennis team swept all nine matches to post a 9-0 victory over visiting Truman State Friday afternoon at the Maryville Tennis Courts. The win ups the Saints mark to 9-8 overall, 3-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
 
Puck Vlaskamp and Anne Lutz posted an 8-5 win at No. 1 doubles, and Manon Halna Du Fretay and Katharina Tietmann won the second doubles slot by the same score. Andrea Fandido and Rebekah Anderson eased to an 8-1 victory to give the Saints all three doubles matches.
 
In singles, Kine Kleppe was extended into a third set but prevailed in the top position 6-4. Vlaskamp posted a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 2 singles, while Anderson notched a 6-4, 6-2 triumph at third singles. Lutz completed her day unbeaten with a 7-5, 6-2 victory, and Tietmann recorded a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 5 singles. In the sixth singles slot, Halna Du Fretay won 12 of 14 games to close out the match 6-2, 6-0 for the Saints.
 
The Saints welcome Quincy to town Saturday for an 11 a.m. match in the final scheduled match of the regular season.
