O'Fallon, Ill. - In its first match of the Spring 2016 season, the Maryville women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision at Saint Louis University. The match was held at St. Clair Tennis Club in O'Fallon, Ill., Sunday evening.

Sarah Etter won seven games but fell 6-4, 6-3 at the top singles slot. Puck Vlaskamp managed to win one game in each of her sets in the No. 2 singles position, while Rebekah Anderson battled at No. 6 singles and took three games in the final set. The Saints extended the Billikens at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles but Saint Louis posted 6-4 wins at both positions to sweep the three doubles matches.
