Quincy, Ill. - For the second straight day, the Maryville women's tennis team went on the road and posted an 8-1 victory, this time at Quincy Saturday morning. The Saints won all three doubles matches to spark the triumph.

Puck Vlaskamp and
Rebekah Anderson started the day with an 8-5 win at the number one doubles slot.
Lucy Horbatowski and
Andrea Fandino kept the run going with an 8-6 victory at No. 2 doubles.
Cara Rickert and
Sarah Etter cruised to an 8-3 win at third doubles to complete the sweep.

In singles play, Quincy won its only point of the day at No. 1 singles, but Fandino posted a 6-2, 3-6, 12-10 win at second singles. Vlaskamp recorded a 6-0, 6-2 edge at No. 3, while Horbatowski won her No. 4 match 10-1 in the final set. Anderson posted a straight-sets 6-1, 6-4 decision at No. 5, and
Kine Kleppe eased to a 6-1, 6-0 victory at the sixth singles slot.

The Saints improve to 6-7 on the season, while the Hawks are now 10-7. Maryville is next in action Saturday, April 16, when it hosts Drury in a 10 a.m. match.
