St. Charles, Mo. -Â The Maryville men's team won two singles matches but Lindenwood prevailed 7-2 Tuesday afternoon in St. Charles, Mo. The Lions took all three doubles points before the Saints closed the gap.
Jack Beuttell-Triggs posted a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 2 singles to garner the first point for the Saints. Louis Glaves added a 6-1, 6-4 triumph at the third singles slot. Lindenwood won three singles points to clinch the win. Maryville extended two other singles matches by winning the second set but Lindenwood prevailed in two superset tiebreaks.
The Saints close out their fall schedule as they play at Illinois Springfield Saturday, Oct. 21.
