Maryville-UIS boxscore

Springfield, Ill. - The Maryville men's tennis squad closed out the 2017 fall season with a loss at Illinois Springfield by a 7-2 scoreline. The Saints were able to win the top singles points but the Prairie Stars were strong in doubles action.
 
After UIS claimed all three doubles point, Jack Beuttell-Triggs posted a 6-3, 7-5 win at the top singles position. Louis Glaves followed up with a 6-2, 7-6 win at No. 2 singles. Illinois Springfield prevented the Saints from getting any closer and sealed the win with four other singles points.
