St. Louis - The Maryville women's tennis team tried to hand unbeaten city-rival University of Missouri-St. Louis its first defeat but the Tritons kept ran their winning streak to eight by taking all nine points over the Saints. Due to weather, the match was moved indoors at Woods Mill Tennis Club.

In doubles play, Rebekah Anderson and Puck Vlaskamp was edged out 8-6 at No. 1, while the Tritons took action at No. 2 8-2. The Saints duo of Lucy Horbatowski and Sarah Etter extended their contest at No. 3 doubles but was tripped up 9-7.
 
Singles action witnessed the Tritons take five of the matches in straight sets. In the top singles match, after dropping the first set, Etter took set two 6-3. However, she was unable to win the match as she fell 10-8 in the final-set tiebreak.
