2017 ITA Regional brackets

Midland, Mich. - The Maryville women's tennis team completed action at the ITA Regional tournament hosted by Northwood University in Midland, Mich. 

Sarah Etter won her first two matches in the singles championship draw before getting defeated by No. 5 seed Alina Kislitskaya of Indianapolis in the round of 16. Etter, who was awarded the No. 10 seed, won her opening match 6-2, 6-0. In her next match, she prevailed by a 6-1, 6-3 count before seeing her run come to an end.

In doubles action, Rebekah Anderson and Lina Kunert were victorious in their first match in the championship draw as they claimed an 8-1 win. However, they were downed by the top-seeded team of Dora Andrejszki and Nora Mindiyarova of Lewis by a score of 8-1.

The Saints are next in action Oct. 7, when they play William Woods and Southeast Missouri State in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
