Summary
Forrester Sims led a balanced Maryville attack with 18 points as the Saints continued the best start in program history by powering past Quincy 80-62. What Happened
The Saints were down 26-23 before Sims sank two free throws to ignite a 10-0 burst. Jimmy Barton drained a 3-pointer to put the Saints on top. Sims sank a layup, and Casey Teson's deep 3-pointer was good for a 33-26 edge. Maryville took a 36-30 lead into halftime.
 
The lead was 42-40 until the Saints reeled off 14 straight points. Robin Thompson converted two free throws, and Barton scored on a drive and 3-pointer. Eugene Jones scored inside as the Saints took a double-digit lead at 51-40 with 13 minutes to play. Sims drilled a 3-pointer and a layup to push the edge to 56-40. Quincy never was able to cut the gap to single digits, and the Saints gradually built up the lead. Maryville put the game away with seven straight points as Nolan Berry's layup put the Saints up 74-53 with just under four minutes to play.
