Box Score The Maryville women's tennis team closed out the fall season by roaring past Lindenwood 8-1 in St. Charles, Mo.
 
The Saints swept the doubles to ignite the path to victory. Nicole Pafundi and Helena Colvee won 6-2 at No. 1 doubles, while Georgina Cupper and Clara Bascunana posted a 6-4 win in the second doubles position. Ashley Dowden and Sandra Hinterberger notched a 6-3 decision.
 
In singles play, Pafundi rolled to a 6-3, 6-1 decision in the top position, and Bascunana rallied for a 5-7, 7-5, 11-9 win at No. 2. Hinterberger cruised at No. 3 by only dropping one game in each set. Colvee won in a walkover in the fifth singles, while Dowden swept all 12 games in her win at No. 6.
