Summary
Nolan Berry tipped in a shot at the buzzer to lift the Maryville men's basketball team to a pulsating 83-81 victory over Lewis Thursday night in Moloney Arena. The game-winning basket capped a sterling night for Berry who finished with 21 points and 18 rebounds, including 10 on the offensive glass.

Jimmy Barton sank a 3-pointer for a 61-60 lead as the Saints erased the largest lead of the night. Lewis came back and rebuilt a 73-69 lead. Maryville again went on an 8-0 run. Berry scored inside, and

Lewis hit a 3-pointer but Berry answered with two free throws. Another trey by the Flyers tied the game but Berry scored on a jumper in the lane for an 81-79 lead. Lewis' Cristen Wilson tied the game at 81-81 to set up the late-game drama. After each team missed on its next possession, the Saints held for the last shot. Maryville's shot bounced off to the right side, and Berry tapped the offensive rebound in for the winning points.
