The Maryville men's tennis team defeated Missouri Baptist 6-3 in a match at the Creve Coeur Racket Club. The Saints took two doubles points and won four singles matches for the win.
Jack Beuttell-Triggs and Louis Glaves claimed the No. 1 doubles match in a tiebreak. Juan Segura and Donovan McKnight won at No. 3 doubles in an 8-5 decision. Beuttell-Triggs rolled to a 6-0, 6-1 win at the top singles position, while Glaves took a 6-3, 6-1 decision at No. 2 singles. Bodin Aleksic won at No. 5 singles in a 6-2, 6-0 score, and McKnight claimed the sixth singles match 6-0, 6-2.
The Saints are now 2-4 on the season.
