Maryville's women's tennis team won a close 5-3 match against Missouri Baptist contested at the Creve Coeur Racket Club Saturday evening.

Kine Kleppe and Sarah Etter won their match at No. 2 doubles 8-4 to claim the first point of the night. Ashley Dowden and Sandra Hinterberger eased to the win at the third doubles match via an 8-3 score.

Hinterberger picked up a 6-0, 6-2 win in the No. 3 singles match, and Lina Kunert shut out her foe at No. 4 6-0, 6-0. Dowden did not drop a game in her match at No. 6 singles to close out the evening.

The Saints have won four straight and improve to 6-1 this season.
