For the second straight Great Lakes Valley Conference match, the Maryville men's tennis team was narrowly edged out by a 5-4 score, this time by city rival and host University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Juan Segura took their No. 1 doubles point by a 8-5 scoreline.
Bodin Aleksic and
Jack Beuttell-Triggs emerged with an 8-4 win at No. 3 doubles. Maryville took a 2-1 lead into singles.

Beuttell-Triggs posted his second straight 2-0 day as he earned a 6-1, 4-6, 6-2 triumph at No. 3 singles. Aleksic swept his match at No. 5 singles with a 6-1, 7-5 decision. However, the Saints could not grab the decisive fifth point as the Tritons emerged with the narrow one-point victory.
