Playing in Red Oak, Iowa, the Maryville women's tennis team was defeated 4-1 by Northwest Missouri State. Nicole Pafundi, who is ranked No. 36 in the nation, picked up the point for the Saints.

The Bearcats garnered the first point by sweeping all three of the doubles matches. Pafundi claimed her No. 1 singles match by a 6-4, 6-0 decision. However, the Saints were unable to garner another point.
