Box Score The Maryville men's tennis team rolled to its first Great Lakes Valley Conference victory with a 7-0 decision Friday at William Jewell.
 
The Saints took the doubles point by winning the matches at No. 1 and No. 3. Tom Schmitt and Bodin Aleksic posted a 6-3 win at the top position, while Fernando De Andres Orea and Juan Segura took their tilt at No. 3 in a 6-4 decision.
 
In singles action, Maryville dominated by winning every matchup. At the top, Jack Beuttell-Triggs claimed a 6-4, 6-1 win, while Segura battled for a 6-4, 6-7, 6-4 edge at No. 2. Aleksic rolled to a 6-0, 6-2 victory in the third position, and Schmitt took a 6-3, 6-4 victory at No. 4. Sebastian Trigosso eased to a 6-1, 6-2 triumph in the fifth slot. De Andres Orea closed out the sweep with a 6-2, 6-3 margin at the sixth and final position.
 
The Saints (3-1) are back on the courts as they make the short trip to Washington University for a 4 p.m. meeting Monday, March 22.
