Box Score  The Maryville women's tennis team continued its strong start of the spring season with a 5-2 victory at Lindenwood. The Saints worked to earn the doubles point then took four of the singles contests to clinch the win.
 
Maria Paula Suarez and Georgie Cupper took the top doubles match at 6-4. Carolina Velazquez and Emily Orlove posted a 6-0 shutout at No. 2 doubles to give the Saints a 1-0 lead heading to singles play.
 
Suarez battled to a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 1 singles, while Cupper was victorious by the same score line at No. 2. Velazquez split the first two sets at the third singles slot but rolled to a 6-1 decision in the third set. Ashley Dowden took her match at No. 6 by a 6-2, 3-6, 10-4 margin.
 
The Saints play their final road match of the season Saturday, April 10, as they are at Southern Indiana.
