ELSAH, Ill. – On Saturday morning, the Maryville men's cross-country team competed in the GLVC Championships where the Saints placed ninth out of 12 total teams in Elsah, Ill. The Saints team totaled a score of 233 points running this 8K cross-country event with the University of Illinois Springfield finishing in first place.
 
Ethan Billingslea ran the front of the pack for the Saints with a total time of 26:22.40, placing 36^th overall. Behind him was Mason Gray who tallied a time of 27:01.60 alongside Caleb Pyle not too far behind, finishing with a total time of 27:06.30. Brady Gischer carried out a fourth-place finish for the Saints at 27:15.70 and Dawson McCown followed at 27:20.60.
 
The Saints will next be in action at the NCAA Regionals where the men's cross-country team will compete on Nov. 19, in Kenosha, Wis.
