COLUMBIA, MO. - On a hot morning at the NCAA Division I National Championship course, the Maryville men's cross country squad came home in 14th place at the Gans Creek Classic in Columbia, Mo.
Dawson McCown paced the Saints and was 56th out of 241 finishers. He clocked a time of 26:24.0 on the 8K course.

Taylor Mason was next across the line in 27:12.7, while
Sam Gleason clocked 27:42.2.
Justin Brewer was right behind in 27:43.0, and
Tucker Hinkle was fifth for the Saints at 29:32.2.
Cooper Davidson was Maryville's sixth runner at 29:52.8, while
Malaki Verkler was the final placer at 30:03.3.

The Saints compiled 378 points in the field of 20 teams, which included four DI squads, and Indiana Wesleyan was the team title.

The Saints do not compete again until the Lewis University Crossover Meet Saturday, Oct. 11.
