PEORIA, ILL. - The Saints men's cross country team finished 11th overall at the Division I meet Bradley Intercollegiate at Detweiller Park in Peoria, Ill. Dawson McCown was Maryville's top finisher and was 49th overall out of 239 runners, covering the 8K distance in 27:00.7.
 
Sam Gleason was second for the Saints and in the top 100 with a time of 28:04.6, while Justin Brewer was next for Maryville in 28:51.7. Tucker Hinkle was just behind at 28:56.8, and Cooper Davidson was in the last scoring position for the Saints in 29:15.6. Malaki Verkler was sixth with a time of 29:21.6, while Ethan Anderson was seventh in 30:29.8.
 
The Saints finished with 362 team points, while host Bradley took the team championship with 31 points out of 23 teams.
 
The Saints run at the Gans Creek Classic Friday, Sept. 26, hosted by the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo.
