ADDISON, Ill. – Maryville University Bowling wrapped up their 2022 campaign with a 1-2 finish at the ITC National Championships over the weekend.
 
The third-seeded Saints took on the 14^th-seeded Mount Mercy Mustangs in the first round and were edged out 4-3 in a best-of-seven series on Thursday.
 
On Friday, the Saints were matched up with Louisiana Tech and took them down 4-2 in an early morning competition. Sam Houston's 4-1 loss to Wichita State in the second round pitted the Saints against the Bearkats in Friday's second game.
 
Maryville took one of the five matches against Sam Houston before being eliminated with a 4-1 final. The Saints finish their season with a strong 64-51 overall record and will look to continue building on their 2021-22 success next winter.
