Box Score St. Louis - The Maryville women's tennis closed the regular season at Dwight Davis Tennis Center but the Saints were edged out 4-3 by Illinois Springfield.
 
Billus Gonlussen and Carolina Velazquez rolled to a 6-1 victory at No. 1 doubles. Victoria Lisson and Emily Orlove notched the win at the No. 2 spot via a 6-4 scoreline as the Saints grabbed the doubles point.
 
Gonlussen cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 at the No. 1 singles slot. However, Lisson was the only other Saint to win her singles match as she prevailed 6-2, 6-3 in the sixth singles position.
