JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Maryville University track & field took on the Lincoln University Open over the weekend. The Saints tallied six finishes in the top five, including three in the top three on the women's side.

Milahn Dukes,
Darriona Griffin, and
Sarai Brown made up a 4x100 team that posted a 49.62 to earn bronze. Also taking third place was
Laura Sherwood in the 3000m (11:04.02) and
Nia Lyles in the shot put (13.11m).
Sarai Brown also posted an impressive fifth-place finish in the 100m finals, finishing the race in 12.78.
For the men,
Cetris Ivy Jr.,
Rand Mathews,
Jobey Smith, and
Austin Terry logged the best finish after taking fourth in the 4x400 (3:22.30). Smith also took fifth in the 400m hurdles while
Dawson McCown (800m) and
Thomas Klekamp (43.84) both took eighth in their respective events.
Next up for Maryville track & field are the UCM Mule Relays on Friday, April 14 in Warrensburg, Mo.
