BOLIVAR, Mo. – Harry Mitchell of Maryville Track & Field made it a clean sweep of the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Freshman of the Year award, earned outdoor honors after earning the accolade in the indoor season. That was the biggest highlight of the Saints' stay in Bolivar, Mo., on the campus of Southwest Baptist for the GLVC Outdoor Championships.

Both squads finished seventh in the team standings, with the men's team earning 45 points and the women's squad amassing 47. Lewis grabbed the crown on the women's side while Indianapolis earned it on the men's side.

MEN'S NOTABLES
Mitchell was the only Saint to garner first in an event, with the freshman tallying wins in the 200 and the 400 meter. The men's side also saw the 4x400 relay team of
Bryson Pickard, Mitchell,
Deontae Anthony and
Landon Oxford combine for second place, snapping the school record as well.

Relays continued to be a strong suit for the men's squad, with the 4x100 of
Giovanni Jones,
Jayden Atkins,
Brendon Hoyte and Mitchell placed third.
Hilton also went on to snag third in the 400 meter hurdles with a 53.01, hitting an NCAA Provisional Mark in the process. Not only did he place third, he also ran the fastest 400 hurdles in school history.
Pickard's fourth in the 400-meter rounded out the point scorers for the Saints as Maryville finished seventh with 45 points scored.

WOMEN'S NOTABLES
The women's team saw nine different Saints score points, finishing seventh as a squad with 47 team points.
Gracie Metzger led the field squad, finishing second in the Javelin.
Sarai Brown added on yet another silver, finishing second in the 100 meter, setting a new outdoor school record.

The final silver came from the 4x100 squad of Brown,
Makayla Myers, Rickailia Goss and
Chloe Davis. Brown finished her weekend with a 200-meter bronze to round out her final GLVC Outdoor Championships.

Lyric Ford's massive PR in the 1500 meter placed her fourth in the event, while she also added points on another PR race in the 5K. Illene Limberg also garnered team points for the 1500 meter, placing eighth.

Courtney Talley's school record mark in the 400 meter was also fast enough to earn points as the Saint finished fourth in the race.
Mallorie Metzger represented the mid-distance crew with a 800-meter PR that placed her sixth.
