The Maryville University men's lacrosse squad earned the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's 2023 Team Academic Award, presented by Blatant Lacrosse. To be eligible for the Team Academic Award, squads must have a GPA of at least 3.0. The Saints are one of only 22 Division II schools that earned the team honor this season.
 
Earlier this week, the Saints men's lacrosse team was recognized as one of Maryville's Great Lakes Valley Conference Team Academic All-GLVC Award winners for a team GPA of at least 3.30. The Saints also had 27 student-athletes who earned Academic All-GLVC recognition.
 
In 2023, the Saints finished third in the GLVC regular season standings, their highest finish in program history, and qualified for the GLVC Tournament.
