Indianapolis - Maryville University senior libero Taylor Hasbrook was selected the Molten Great Lakes Valley Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week. She led the Saints to a 3-1 record at the Blossom Classic hosted by Arkansas-Monticello and finished the tournament with 83 digs in 14 sets (5.93 per set). This is the second time in her career that Hasbrook has garnered the Player of the Week honor.
 
Hasbrook opened the season as she recorded 20 digs and one kill in a sweep of Christian Brothers. She followed with a tournament-high 26 digs as the Saints rallied from an 0-2 deficit to beat Northern State in five sets. Hasbrook went over the 1,000-dig mark for her career during the Northern State match and now has 1,046 digs to rank fourth in program history. She notched 14 digs in a three-set win over host Arkansas-Monticello, and closed the tourney with 23 digs in three sets against Truman State. Hasbrook added 10 assists and served five aces over the four matches.
 
The Saints (3-1) travel to Florida for three games Sept. 9-10 against Nova Southeastern, Palm Beach Atlantic and Lynn University.
