Romeoville, Ill. – Lyric Ford finished in 54th place overall to pace the Maryville women's cross country squad at the 2024 NCAA Midwest Regional Meet in Romeoville, Ill., hosted by Lewis University. She covered the 6K course in a time of 22:54.47 as the Saints top finisher.
 
Mallorie Metzger picked up a top 100 finish as she posted a time of 23:30.47. Savannah Lesher took third on the team and came home in 23:36.65, while Fatimah Almamori ran a time of 24:19.73. Maddie Marschel was Maryville's last team scorer and clocked a 24:33.88. Emma Neal ran the course in 24:43.63, and Olivia Clive crossed the line with a time of in 25:17.28.
 
Grand Valley State had five of the top seven finishers to win the team competition with 20 points, and Maryville compiled 512. GVSU's Lauren Kiley took individual honors in 20:57.78.
