ROMEOVILLE, ILL. - The Maryville women's cross country team tied its best finish at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships with a fourth-place finish at the 2025 meet in Romeoville, Ill. Ilene Limberg finished ninth overall, the best finish by a Saint since 2015, with a 6K time of 22:07.07 as a trio of runners earned All-GLVC honors. The Saints posted 108 team points.
 
Lyric Ford was close by and finished 11th with a time of 22:12.12, and Mallorie Metzger clocked in at 22:23.11 to also grab a top 20 finish. Fatimah Almamori came home in 23:20.133, while Maddie Marschel finished fifth on the team in 23:50.07. Olivia Clive covered the distance in 24:14.70, and Emma Neal was the team's seventh runner in 24:33.57

Lewis won the team title with 40 points, while Maddie Miller-Ross of Illinois Springfield was the individual champion in 21:35.04.
