Romeoville, Ill. - At a Lewis Crossover meet dotted with nine nationally-ranked teams, Maryville women's cross country finished in 21st place in Romeoville, Ill. Mallorie Metzger was the top finisher for the Saints in 22:32.93, good for 58th overall over the 6K course.
 
Ilene Limberg was second for the Saints and 65th overall at 22:37.49. Lyric Ford finished in 22:49.15, while Fatimah Almamori was next with a time of 23:22.83. Maddie Marschel was Maryville's next runner in 24:40.15, and Olivia Clive came across the line in 24:56.09. Emma Neal was the team's seventh runner in 25:06.49

No. 15 Chico State took the 36-team competition with 100 points, while Hannah Hartwell of Fort Lewis was the individual race winner in 20:45.07.
