TROY, Mich. – Fifth-ranked Maryville University women's hockey will take on No. 8 Indiana Tech in the first round of the American Collegiate Hockey Association National Tournament on Wednesday, March 13.

 Maryville will head into the ACHA National Tournament as the fifth-ranked team in the nation after the most recent computer rankings. The ACHA uses two computer rankings, Ranking A (Wins with a goal differential of 6) and Ranking B (wins with a maximum goal differential of 1) to come up with an average of the two rankings, determining the ranking spots for teams.

The Saints went 19-16 overall and made a run to the Women's Midwest Collegiate Hockey conference semifinals where they lost 2-1 to No. 1 Liberty University.
Mady Johnsen led the team in points with 38 and helped Maryville to a 2-1 win over No. 6 McKendree University in the conference semifinals with the game-winner with under a minute left in the game.

The puck drop on Wednesday, March 13 is set for 1 p.m., at the Centene Community Ice Center in Chesterfield, Mo.
