ST. LOUIS – Maryville University track & field won three events at the WashU Invitational over the weekend and posted five new school records. The Saints competed at the Joey Haines Invitational, the WashU Distance Carnival, and the WashU Invite over three days beginning last Thursday.

Sarai Brown,
Ladarius Williams, and
Donteaus Moore all took individual event wins in the WashU Invite on Saturday. Brown posted a new school record time of 11.86 to win the 100m while also breaking the school's 200m time with a 24.70. Williams completed the 110m hurdles with a 14.56, setting the program mark, and
Donteaus Moore won the 400m hurdles with a 56.08. Moore was also the runner-up in the 110m hurdles behind Williams, registering a 14.63.

Other second-place finishes on the weekend include
Thomas Klekamp in the javelin with a mark of 47.45m and
Nia Lyles in the shot put with a mark of 13.16m.
Sherodd Tate (shot put),
Grace Graham (100m hurdles),
Kalie Thompson (discus), and
Julia Hahn (hammer) all took third place in their respective events.

Caleb Pyle additionally hit the NCAA Division II Provisional mark with a 30:16.98 in the 10,000m on Friday at the WashU Distance Carnival.
