INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships have come and gone in Indianapolis at the UIndy ARC, and the Maryville University Track and Field teams came away with five medalists at this year's events.

MEDAL WATCH
On the women's side,
Sarai Brown was this years top finisher, placing second in the 60 meter with a mark of 7.49.
Julia Hahn joined her as the two medalists from the women's team, placing third in the shot put.

For the men's team, it was
Kanden Bolton and
Ladarius Williams who paced the Saints. Bolton's 14.17 meter leap in the triple jump landed him with bronze, while Williams' 60 meter hurdles finish was good enough for third.

The men's 4x400 relay team of
Landon Oxford,
Terry Towah, Williams and
Bryson Pickard put on a show, finishing third for the final medal of the weekend for the Saints.

OTHER NOTABLES
Bolton, despite only finishing fifth, was impressive in the long jump, landing as the highest placing freshman and hitting the NCAA provo mark. Both
Amel Abdul-Mumin and
Giovanni Jones grabbed fifth places as well. Abdul-Mumin, who has set numerous school records this season, earned his spot in the high jump with a 2.02 mark. Jones, in the 60 meter, snagged just under a 6.99 finish for his landing.

The 4x400 women's squad of
Courtney Talley,
Emoni Owens, Brown and
Lorena Alonso finishes fifth, joined by
Grace Graham's high jump fifth-place finish as well. The mid-distance  crew show up as well, with
Mallorie Metzger finishing sixth in the 800 meter and
Lyric Ford seventh in the mile.

Savannah Lesher's seventh in the 3000 represented the long-distance crew well.

The Saints await to see who will find themselves a spot back in Indianapolis for NCAA DII Nationals on March 13-15.
